About Blue Hawk Records:
Blue Hawk Records (BHR), established in 2013, is the student-run record label at Monmouth University. Our mission is to provide students with real-world experience to launch their music industry careers and enrich the campus culture.
Each semester, we host numerous networking events with industry professionals, both on and off-campus, along with field trips to industry hubs such as SiriusXM, Warner, and the Grammy Museum. Additionally, we offer students the chance to showcase their original music through compilation albums.
We take great pride in the events and music we produce. Our comprehensive services include record production, artist branding, marketing strategy execution, and live event coordination. In Spring 2024, we are thrilled to host our 2nd annual Women in Music event. This exceptional gathering brings together accomplished female executives from all facets of the music industry, providing Monmouth students with a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights, experiences, and advice from these remarkable professionals. Through partnerships with Lakehouse Recording Studio in Asbury Park, The Music Business Association, and The Grammy Museum, we provide our students with unparalleled career opportunities and industry connections, positioning them for future success in their chosen field.
