Monmouth Unviersity is commited to providing its student athletes with a complete college experience on the court, in the classroom and through unique experiences. This spring, the women's basketball team will travel to the Dominican Republic to play two games against international opponents as well as visiti Santo Domingo and Punto Cana. The team is currently raising funds to support the five-day trip with a goal of raising $15,000 by April 1. Click on any of the levels listed to support the trip today to bring us closer to our goal! "Our program is excited to take our student athletes on a special trip and share the experience of traveling to a foreign country while representing Monmouth University," commented head coach Jody Craig. "I know that the coaches, players and staff traveling with us are all looking forward to seeing different parts of the world and watching our team compete against quality competition one last time before the summer."
NCAA legislation allows an opportunity for college programs to programs to travel abroad and participate in foreign tours once every four year. These trips involve playing international competition, touring different cities, learning from different cultures as well as giving back to local community.
Every dollar makes a difference and provides a once-in-a-lifetime chance for our student-athletes. 100% of the funds donated directly support the trip and 100% of each gift is eligible for a tax deduction. Thank you to all of our supporters for making this great opportunity possible.
