Monmouth football won its first ever Big South Championship and NCAA Playoff game in 2019! They finished ranked # 12 in the nation and set numerous school records including 11 wins in one season and a nine game winning streak! Thank you to everyone who honored these champions by making a gift to the football enhancement fund! Contributions from alumni, family, season ticket holders, supporters and friends provide our deserving student-athletes with resources to continue the tradition of excellence! 100% of funds donated directly support the football program!
The team boasted a program record 17 All-Big South conference honorees. Senior quarterback Kenji Bahar was named Big South Player of the Year and head coach Kevin Callahan is the 2019 Big South Coach of the Year! Junior running back Pete Guerriero set the school record for rushing yards in one season and Bahar will complete his Monmouth career as the all-time leader in passing yardage!
