When you use this page to make a gift of $20 or more by 11:59pm EST on Tuesday, December 1, we will send you our inaugural Monmouth University Giving Tuesday Ornament as a sign of our appreciation (one ornament per gift - while supplies last).
Monmouth Fund: The Monmouth Fund supports areas of greatest need, including academic excellence initiatives, student organizations, and emergency fiscal situations. Gifts to this fund help the University deliver on the promise of a private education by supporting student research opportunities, enhancing out-of-classroom learning experiences, and fostering a love of life-long learning, while allowing us the flexibility to address and meet the emerging needs of our students.
Monmouth University Scholarship Fund: Every scholarship gift—of any size—is important to our students! Individual gifts can work together to make to a big impact. Research shows that adding $5,000 to a student's financial aid package makes a meaningful difference in whether a student will choose Monmouth, and whether they can afford to stay. By making a gift to support student scholarships you can help Monmouth attract and retain highly qualified students from economically, geographically, and culturally diverse backgrounds.
Athletic Director's Excellence Fund: The Athletics Director's Excellence Fund supports department-wide initiatives allowing each of our student-athletes to receive enhanced support. When you make a gift to this fund, you help maintain equipment that monitors student-athlete performance, deliver career networking and personal development events, invest in high quality ESPN broadcasts staffed primarily by Monmouth students, and allow student-athletes the resources to find athletic and academic success.
Diversity and Inclusion Fund: This fund supports diversity programming and educational initiatives, curricular and co-curricular integration, diverse faculty and staff recruitment, and other related efforts, all aimed at cultivating a more welcoming and inclusive campus environment for all members of our University community.
President's Relief Fund: Created as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this fund provides assistance to current students who are facing financial hardship due to a loss of income or unemployment. Financial grants address hardships including shelter and food insecurity, daily living essentials, unexpected travel costs, access to technology to support academic work, and other essential hardship needs.
Eligible gifts of $20 or more are made exclusively through this crowdfunding project page to one of the five featured funds between 11/20/20 and 12/1/20. Ornament offer does not apply to previous contributions.
In compliance with IRS regulations, your gift is tax-deductible to the extent that payment exceeds the fair market value of the 2020 Monmouth University Giving Tuesday Ornament. The tax-deductible portion will benefit the fund selected by the donor.
