Monmouth Women’s Tennis opened the 2021 fall season eager to continue its pursuit of winning a MAAC Championship in the spring of 2022.
This fall season has begun, however; the COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause significant economic and budgetary challenges to all of collegiate athletics. Important revenue streams that support all 24 Monmouth Athletics programs including ticket sales, sponsorships, and disbursements from the NCAA remained significantly reduced while the day-to-day expenses of operating a successful women’s tennis program haven't changed.
