Be the Tradition
The Class of 2019 Giving Campaign exists to educate new graduates on Monmouth's vital need to raise private support, while encouraging graduates to begin their participation as donors to the Monmouth University Scholarship Fund, which makes Monmouth a stronger, more competitive university. Although the Class of 2019 Giving Campaign promotes a donation amount of $20.19, gifts of any size are celebrated as a part of the Alumni Association’s matching gift commitment of $2,019. Monmouth University President and the Alumni Association will celebrate the Class of 2019 Giving Campaign at the president's reception during senior week. Matching gifts will be presented throughout the campaign as a tradition to honor the graduating students’ collective efforts to go above their class participation goal.
Philanthropy Cords
Graduates who have made a gift of $20.19 will receive a Philanthropy Cord in recognition of their support. The Philanthropy Cord will be worn during Monmouth’s commencement ceremony, symbolizing philanthropic pride and the reciprocal commitment between Monmouth graduates and the greater alumni association.
To thank you for your gift, those who participate with a gift of $20.19 will receive a Philanthropy Cord to wear during the 2019 spring commencement ceremony. Philanthropy Cords can be picked up at the alumni table at the Cap and Gown Fair in May. Thank you for making a difference!
