Thanks for your support!
As you know, Vice President for University Advancement, Jonathan Meer, has secured $1,000 from The George Backer Family Foundation, Inc. to challenge us to exceed our goal by 50 classmates.
We are excited to announce that we have gone above and beyond this goal with over 300 donors to support scholarship!
Thank you Jonathan and your family foundation for helping us to achieve even greater success. It is important that our classmates know George Backer was Jonathan's grandfather and a hardworking and accomplished man who was dedicated to supporting and mentoring young people. We learned that George Backer always gave back. Today, we are excited to say thank you, honor George Backer's legacy, and give-back to our alma mater with the intention of inspiring the next class to do the same.
The check presentation of the Class of 2019 Giving Campaign and the foundation gift will be held at the President's Reception on Monday, May 13.
See you all there!
